Licensee is responsible for paying any and all applicable sales taxes, use taxes, value added taxes, customs and duties imposed by any jurisdiction as a result of the Agreement, or use of the Licensor Content. A Hackintosh is a type of non-Apple computer designed to run unauthorized versions of macOS. The name is a portmanteau of the words "hack" and Macintosh, the brand name of laptop and desktop computers made by Apple, Inc. Hackintosh laptops are sometimes referred to as Hackbooks. Licensor may modify and update the Licensor Content as such modifications and/or updates are deemed necessary or desirable by Licensor and Licensee shall (to the extent that particular Licensor Content is used by the Licensee) use such Licensor Content as modified or updated. This limited warranty is void if the defect has resulted from accident, abuse, negligence, misapplication, or where the Software has not been properly installed or used in accordance with the Documentation. RealEFI theoretically should be flashed instead of the BIOS but alternatively a loadable EFI can be used for those with a BIOS motherboard. This system was invented by Intel and is currently in active open source development at TianoCore.

EULA is an acronym for End User License Agreement. It defines the relationship between the provider of software and the end user. SolarWinds' Software and Documentation was developed exclusively at private expense and is a “commercial item” as defined in FAR 2.101, and any supplement is provided with no greater than RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Such Software and related items consist of “commercial computer software,” “commercial computer software documentation,” and commercial technical data as defined in the applicable acquisition regulations, including FAR 2.101 and FAR Part 12. Use, duplication, release, modification, transfer, or disclosure ("Use") of the Software and Documentation is restricted by this Agreement and in accordance with DFARS Section 227.7202 and FAR Section 12.212, and the Software and Documentation are licensed (i) only as commercial items; and (ii) with only the rights granted to commercial end users pursuant to this Agreement. Such Use is further restricted by FAR 52.227-14, 252.227-7015, or similar acquisition regulations, as applicable and amended.
