Smoking Lease Addendum Style 5

Definition of smoking: smoking includes inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possession of any lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, other product containing any amount of tobacco or other similar lighted product. Smoking is defined as the inhaling, exhaling, or possession of any lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, or other similar apparatus containing tobacco, as well as any other similar lighted products. Tenant is not permitted to smoke on the described premises. Tenant understands that the Owner's adoption of a smoke-free policy does not ensure that the described premises are safer than or possess better air quality than any other premises. Owner cannot guarantee that the premises will be free of secondhand smoke and is not assuming any greater duty of care to enforce this Addendum than any other condition of the Lease Agreement. Whether you are a landlord or tenant, there may be times when your residential or commercial lease needs to be added to. In these circumstances, you will use a lease addendum to make the required changes.
