Persons appointed to competitive positions under the interchange agreements will receive career or career-conditional appointments, depending on whether they meet the 3-year service requirement for career tenure or are exempt from it under 5 CFR 315.201(c). Service that begins with a person's current permanent appointment in the other merit system counts toward the 3-year service requirement for career tenure.

The Company agrees to reimburse you for any and all reasonable costs and expenses you may incur in connection with such cooperation. This agreement states the entire understanding and agreement between the parties with respect to its subject matter. The EMPLOYER has made no promises to EMPLOYEE other than those contained in this Agreement. This Agreement may be modified, or any provision waived, only by a signed written agreement of the affected parties. This form needs to be updated and adapted to the needs of the user by a qualified labor attorney.
