Notice of Meeting Style 54

If you have any questions regarding information contained in this meeting notice or if the scheduled date, time or location of the meeting is not convenient and/or if you need assistance understanding the special education process, please contact Caroline Applebey at (123) 456-7890. If you are unable to attend but wish to participate in this meeting, please contact us to discuss alternative means of participation, such as a conference telephone call. We have scheduled a meeting of the Subcommittee on Special Education to discuss your child's educational needs. Your participation in this meeting is very important and you are encouraged to attend. As a member of the Committee, you have a right to participate in discussions and decisions about the identification, evaluation and educational placement of your child. The meeting has been scheduled for the following date, time and location. They could be for a concert, a special sale, or even a graduation party. Announcement letters are usually informal and state clearly and concisely what the event/occasion is and what further actions the recipient should take. And you can’t attend a meeting if you don’t know about it, right? And if your group is a public body, like a school board or a town council, then you probably face some legal requirement for public notice, too. Transmission of this form and the information contained herein is not intended to create, and receipt thereof does not constitute formation of, an attorney-client relationship. You should not rely upon this document or information for any purpose without seeking legal advice from an appropriately licensed attorney, including without limitation to review and provide advice on the terms of this form, the appropriate approvals required in connection with the transactions contemplated by this form, and any securities law and other legal issues contemplated by this form or the transactions contemplated by this form.
