(3) If no agreement has been reached within 30 clear days after notice has been given under subparagraph (2), variation relating to support for the wife may be determined at the instance of either the husband or the wife under the Arbitrations Act by a single arbitrator whose award is subject to appeal under the provisions of the Arbitrations Act.
