Marketing Consulting Agreement Style 1

This consulting agreement template is designed to help technical services consultants establish business contracts with new clients. It includes pricing, legal terms, and electronic signature fields. Throughout the last two decades I have often spoken of the importance of putting together a Band Agreement when you and your fellow band-mates are serious about doing business together professionally. Below you'll find a link to a template for a Band Agreement that will help you write your own Agreement. In my book 'Music Is Your Business' I explain some basic facts about typical band agreements. I also suggest that you and your fellow musicians should try and write up your own agreement before consulting with an entertainment law attorney. He helped launch Inc.com, the internet arm of Inc. magazine, where he served as CFO and COO. Rocket Lawyer provides information and software only. Rocket Lawyer is not a "lawyer referral service" and does not provide legal advice or participate in any legal representation. Music Is Your Business Christopher Knab and Bartley F. Day's expanded edition of "Music Is Your Business" is filled with more insights into the business side of being a successful musician or band.

Some consultants are employed indirectly by the client via a consultancy staffing company, a company that provides consultants on an agency basis. The staffing company itself does not usually have consulting expertise but works rather like an employment agency. Accredited Associates are bound by a Code of Ethics that require the consultant to only provide “practical advice that works”—“Analysing as a Generalist and Solving as a Specialist”—by using the skills and experience of a sub-contracted fellow Associate, thus at all times providing the client with the best available advice and support. Internationally the accreditation of Management Consultants is overseen by higher education training and accreditation organizations. Consultant Peter Block defines a consultant as "someone who has influence over an individual, group, or organization, but who has no direct authority to implement changes." He contrasts this with a surrogate manager who is a person who "acts on behalf of, or in place of, a manager." The key difference is that a consultant never makes decisions for the individual or group, whereas a surrogate manager does make decisions.
